Remote Monitoring Services
eG Innovations' remote monitoring service offers service providers and integrators an attractive opportunity to reduce their day-to-day operations cost, without compromising on their service quality assurance to customers. While many service providers have expert network administrators, fewer providers have the expertise and resources to monitor the variety of applications that are available in real-world IT infrastructures. eG Innovations' remote monitoring services make available dedicated administrative personnel who can work with the service provider's administrators to monitor and manage their eG deployment environment. eG Innovations' administrators can function as a virtual, extended operations team for the service provider and can perform tasks ranging from installing eG agents to configuring the
eG manager to analyzing the collected data and reporting anomalies. The administration staff can also help troubleshoot and proactively alert customers about problems.
Integration Services
While the eG Enterprise suite includes extensive network, system, and
application monitoring capabilities, often times, there are critical custom developed/home-grown applications in a target infrastructure. To achieve complete end-to-end monitoring, it is critical to monitor the standard applications and network devices as well as the customized applications. Customers use our integration service to get eG-certified consultants to rapidly customize their eG deployment to manage home-grown applications or new network devices. As part of this service, eG consultants also integrate eG products with existing
network management, help desk, or CRM systems, so as to allow customers to leverage their existing investments and to have a tightly integrated infrastructure management solution.
Performance Audits
This service is targeted at organizations who wish to audit the performance of their IT infrastructure - from networks, to servers, to applications, to see if they are meeting the service level expectations of their customers. As part of the engagement, an eG certified team of operation experts are deployed to first understand the target environment, the customer's goals, and expectations of the audit. Then, the eG team scopes out the service deployment and lays down the deliverables to set expectations. For the contracted period, the eG team will deploy, configure, and monitor the target infrastructure to collect performance statistics, analyze trends and performance bottlenecks, and provide a detailed report that highlights the current service levels and pin-points areas for performance improvement.
Pre-deployment Testing
Many a times, performance issues are detected during application development and pre-deployment or testing in a staging environment, when load testing is performed. eG Innovations' pre-deployment testing service is an on-demand service that is setup to enable the staging infrastructure to be monitored end-to-end when load testing is performed. Powerful insights into the infrastructure performance are provided to application developers with correlated analysis of the system performance inorder to help identify the potential bottlenecks in the system.
On-Site Support
eG-certified engineers and consultants are available any business day to assist with on-site requirements ranging from installation and administration support to expert analysis and diagnosis to help customers understand and react to
performance reports available in the eG system.
Training
eG Innovations provides comprehensive training courses to assist our partners and customers to understand and exploit the capabilities of the eG Enterprise suite. Targeted sales and pre-sales training courses are available for partners. Customers have two levels of user training. The basic training course for an eG-certified engineer goes into the installation, configuration, administration, fine-tuning, and usage of the eG product suite. Extensive hands-on sessions ensure that trainees are fully equipped to efficiently and effectively maintain and use their eG system. The advanced training course is ideal for individuals looking to integrate and extend eG's solutions by themselves.
