Integrating SaaS Deployment of eG Enterprise with Generative AI

Irrespective of Enterprise edition or SaaS deployment of eG Enterprise, eG Enterprise can seamlessly integrate with Generative AI services like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

By default, eG Enterprise recommends all the tenants/organizations to use the same Generative AI service in SaaS deployments. However, eG Enterprise also offers the flexibility for every tenant/organization to choose the Generative AI service of their own. To achieve this, administrators should do the following:

• Open the <eG_INSTALL_DIR>/manager/config/eg_services.ini file.

• Set the overrideParentSettings available under the [AI_Integration_Settings] section to true.

This will ensure that the Organizational units/users of the organization in a SaaS deployment can override the default Generative AI setting and pick the Generative AI of their choice.
