How to Ensure that the eG External Agent Receives SNMP Traps?

The broad steps to achieve this are as follows:

• Make sure that at least one agent in the environment is configured as an external agent.
• Register the external agent as a trap host with the device from which the traps are to be received. The procedure for this registration will differ from one network device to another.
• Configure the Snmptrapd on the external agent, so that it is enabled to receive SNMP traps.
