The Application Processes Layer

This layer depicts the states of the different processes that must be executing for the Web server to be available.

In addition, the layer can also be optionally configured to monitor the validity of the SSL certificates (if any) that may have been installed on the Web server. For this, an SSL Certificate Validity test will have to be enabled. The details of this test have been provided in the SSL Certificate Validity Test topic.
