Datapower Operating System layer

Using the tests associated with the Datapower Operating System layer (see Figure 1), you can monitor the following:

• Average CPU utilization by the target IBM Datapower device at specified time intervals.

• Current temperature of the system.

• Current temperature of the CPU recorded by the temperature sensor.

• Current state of the power supply in the target Datapower device.

• Current memory that is available in the device.

• Amount of memory that is currently used by the device.

• Amount of memory that is available for use on the device.

• Percentage of memory utilized by the device.
