Wyse License Usage Test
Wyse Management Suite engages two different license types namely - Standard edition and Pro edition for managing Dell Wyse thin clients. The Standard edition includes basic device management, firmware updates, standard monitoring and reporting, and basic support. The Pro edition includes advanced configuration options, detailed reporting, application management, and improved security and compliance tools. The Pro edition is designed to fit both public and private cloud deployments.
In Pro edition - Public cloud model, Wyse Management Suite is hosted on a cloud infrastructure managed by Dell, ideal for organizations that need the flexibility of cloud-based management without investing in additional on-premises infrastructure.
In Pro edition - Private cloud model, Wyse Management Suite is deployed on a private cloud environment that is hosted on-premises being isolated from other organizations. The Private-cloud model offers increased security and privacy as the environment is dedicated solely to the organization, which can be critical for handling sensitive data.
Using this test, administrators can monitor the license type engaged by thin clients on the target Wyse Management Suite (WMS) and also identify the number of thin clients that possess both public cloud and private cloud based Pro edition licenses.
Target of the test : Wyse Management Suite
Agent deploying this test : A remote agent
Outputs of the test :One set of results for each license type in the target WMS being monitored
