Managing an AD FS Server

The AD FS server cannot be auto-discovered. You need to manually add it to the eG Enterprise system for monitoring. To achieve this, follow the steps below:

1. Login to the eG admin interface.

2. Follow the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify menu sequence.

3. In the page that appears next, select AD FS Server as the Component type. Then, click the Add New Component button.

4. Figure 1 will then appear.

5. Specify the Host IP/Name of the AD FS server, its Nick name, and its Port number in Figure 1.

6. Then, pick one/more External agents for monitoring the AD FS server.

7. Finally, click the Update button.
