The AD Server Layer
This layer verifies the availability and responsiveness of the Active Directory (AD) service from an external location. This layer also monitors the user accesses to the AD server and reports how well the server handles access requests. In the process, the layer also reports useful session-related metrics pertaining to the user sessions on the AD server. Besides, the layer also reports the overall health of the AD database (see Figure 1).
