Storm Topologies Layer

Using the tests associated with the Storm Topologies layer (see Figure 1), you can monitor the following:

  • Number of tasks completed by the owner (user).

  • Size of total memory requested by the owner.

  • Size of total memory used by the owner.

  • Number of CPU cores requested/used by the owner.

  • Size of memory guaranteed for the owner.

  • Size of remaining memory to be guaranteed for the owner.

  • Count of CPU cores guaranteed for the owner.

  • Count of remaining CPU cores to be guaranteed for the owner.

  • Number of isolated nodes for the owner.

  • Size of heap memory requested by the owner.

  • Size of heap memory assigned to the owner.

  • Size of off-heap memory requested by the owner.

  • Size of off-heap memory assigned to the owner.

  • Status of Topology in the target Apache Storm - Is it active, inactive, killed or under re- balancing state.

  • Number of Executors and Workers in Storm Topology.

  • Number of completed tasks by Storm Topology.

  • Count of Nimbus hosts on which the topology code is replicated.

  • Size of total memory requested for storm topology.

  • Size of total assigned memory for storm topology.

  • Size of heap memory requested for storm topology.

  • Size of heap memory assigned to storm topology.

  • Size of off-heap memory requested for storm topology.

  • Size of off-heap memory assigned to storm topology.

  • Number of CPU cores requested for storm topology.

  • Number of CPU cores assigned to storm topology.

  • Maximum time that the Topology has been up since its last reboot.
