CAM File Headers Test

The header information is top-level data from a credit file. It provides basic information about the person to verify their identity. The types of data found in credit reports include name, name variants, current address, prior addresses, phone number, date of birth, and Social Security Number. The financial sector uses data from credit files to check identities in KYC and AML processes. This makes the credit header data very crucial for any individual or business and is mainly used for credit limit checking or company credit rating. CAM software helps automate credit limit checking and credit rating processes. For this, customers make use of the credit file headers, and thus timely loading of the file headers is inevitable. Any slowdowns or latencies in the loading of credit file headers can adversely affect the application performance and user experience, leading to revenue loss. Therefore, it is imperative to monitor the credit file header loadtime and find out any slowdowns before they are identified by the users.

This test reports the statistics pertaining to the rate and time at which file headers are loaded. In addition, this test also gives detailed statistics such as the mean, median, and standard deviation of the loadtime. This helps the administrators analyze and identify any slowdowns or setbacks in the loadtime of file headers. These statistical measures help them to proactively remediate the slowdown issues before they adversely affect the user experience and application performance.
