Monitoring Dell Compellent Storage Center

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Dell Compellent Storage Center monitoring model (see Figure 1) to monitor the overall health and current stateof the disks, LUNs, arrays and controllers and analyze how well the Storage Center balances I/O load across the disks, LUNs etc.

Every layer of Figure 1 is mapped to a variety of tests which connect to the SMI-S Provider of the Dell Compellent Storage Center to collect critical statistics pertaining to its performance.
