EMC ECS VDC Layer
The tests associated with this layer monitor the VDC for overall health and tests various components within VDC to collect key metrics. The tests monitor disk capacity at cluster and VDC level, disk and transaction workload, if the coding is working efficiently, garbage collection is setup and working, majority of nodes are online and are in good health, amount of memory used and available across VDC, geo replication is working and if recovery is happening as expected.
