The Backup Services Layer

This tests mapped to this layer helps administrators figure out the following:

• overall performance of the target backup server in terms of data reads and data writes;

• space utilization of the retention repository;

• space utilization of the disk landing zone;

• data that is available for restore and data that is yet to be deduplicated etc;
