Monitoring the Google Chromebooks Group

eG Enterprise offers a dedicated monitoring model for Google Chromebooks Group which periodically monitors the current state and health of the devices, network availability and responsive, and CPU, memory, storage and disk utilization.

Using the metrics reported by the tests mapped to the layers, administrators can find quick and accurate answers to certain persistent performance queries, such as the following:

• Is the target Google Chromebooks Group available and responsive?

• How many devices in the target group are not OS-updated during the last 30 days?

• Did any device in the target Google Chromebooks Group experience an unscheduled reboot recently?

• What is the current status of each device?

• Which device is over-utilizing the CPU?

• Is any device experiencing high rate of incoming/outgoing traffic through the network?

• Is disk space on any device being over-utilized?

• How well the storage on each device is being utilized?

• Which device is using excessive memory resources?

• How long the disks on each device took to perform I/O operations?

• What is the signal strength of the Wi-Fi network accessed by the devices?
