System Management Layer

Using the tests associated with the System Management layer (see Figure 2), you can monitor the following:

• Status of domain and redundancy status of HP VC-Flex blade interconnect

• Status of each blade enclosure which can hold multiple blade servers

• Availability of VC Flex Ethernet Network

• Status of VC Flex Fabric that is used to implement LAN/SAN convergence technology

• Health status of the modules within the target HP VC Flex

• Track the traffic through each port and quickly identify the port that is handling the maximum amount of traffic and resolve the problem.

• Status of server profiles on the target environment
