Using the tests mapped to this layer (see Figure 1), administrators can ascertain the following:

Current voltage of the BBU/controller

CPU and memory usage of the controller

Temperature of the enclosure

Running level of the fan

Overall health and running status of the BBU, controller, enclosure, fan, and power supply unit
