The Web Server Layer

The HTTP test mapped to this layer of an External Web component (see Figure 2) is similar to that of the Microsoft IIS Web server. There fore the following section explains how to configure the JSON Web Analysis test and URL Defacement Status test alone. This test issues a HTTP GET request to the web URLs through which Azure hosted web applications/services expose their status information as JSON responses.
