The MAXDB Service Layer

Using the tests associated with the MAXDB Service layer (see Figure 1), you can monitor the following:

  • How well the database session caches are utilized
  • The SQL statements and transactions executing on the MaxDB server
  • The request processing capability of the MaxDB server
  • The different types of queries that are executed on the server
  • The active sessions on the database server
