Configuring the Tests

1. Once the Mosquitto MQTT component is added successfully, you will be redirected to the Components page (see Figure 1). Using the options provided in the Components page, you can modify, unmanage or delete the newly added component. In addition, you can also configure the tests, set thresholds and maintenance policies, and change the IP address.

2. To collect the performance metrics, you may need to configure the tests that are mapped to the target Mosquitto MQTT component. To configure the tests that need manual configuration, click on the icon in Figure 1.

3. Figure 2 then appears. By default, the tests corresponding to this component are automatically configured.

4. Click on the Mosquitto MQTT Broker test to view the configuration details or to reconfigure it if the target Mosquitto MQTT is SSL-enabled. To know more details on how to configure the test, refer to Monitoring Mosquitto MQTT.

5. Once the test is configured, sign out of the eG admin interface.
