Adding the MySQL Cluster

The MySQL Cluster cannot be automatically discovered by eG Enterprise. Therefore, administrators need to manually add the MySQL Cluster.

To add the cluster manually to eG Enterprise, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to the eG admin interface as user with administrative privileges.

  2. Click on the Add Component button in the right corner of the Components at a Glance page that appeared or follow the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify menu sequence.

  3. Next, select MySQL Cluster from the Component type drop-down and then click the Add New Component button.

  4. When Figure 1 appears, specify the IP address of the primary instance in that cluster against Host IP/Name.

  5. Then, provide a Nick name for the component.

  6. The Port number will be set as 3306 by default. If the MySQL Cluster is listening on a different port in your environment, then override this default setting (see Figure 1).

  7. Select an external agent from the External agents list box and click the Add button to add the component for monitoring.
