Monitoring NVIDIA License Server

To provide such complete monitoring, eG Enterprise embeds an exclusive NVIDIA License server monitoring model (see Figure 1).

Every layer of this model is mapped to a wide variety of tests that keep a constant check on health and every operational aspect of the license server and report its status. The performance metrics reported by the tests will instantly answer the following queries:

• Is the connection established between the target license server and the database success?

• Is security enabled for the target license server?

• Is the HTTP authentication enabled for the target license server?

• Is any license type over-utilized?

• How many licenses are available for use in each license type?

• Are over-draft licenses of any license type in use?

• How many licenses are reserved for specific clients?
