Managing a NetFlow Device in eG Enterprise

To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Login to the eG administrative interface.

2. Follow the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify menu sequence. In the page that appears next, select NetFlow Device as the Component type and click the Add New Component button to add a new component of that type. Figure 1 will then appear.

3. Specify the IP address and Nick name of the NetFlow Device to be monitored in Figure 1. Then, pick an External Agent from Figure 1 to assign to the NetFlow Device.

   Note:

   Select an external agent that has been deployed on a Windows host for the purpose of NetFlow monitoring.

4. Finally, click the Add button.
