The MSSQL Analysis Service Layer

With the help of the tests mapped to this layer, you can:

• Track connections to SSAS and capture failed connection attempts;

• Measure the responsiveness of SSAS to queries, and diagnose the root-cause of poor query performance;

• Monitor the usage of I/O and non-I/O threads in the query and processing thread pools, and proactively detect abnormal thread usage;

• Be proactively alerted to processing latencies
