The EUC Forum was initially developed from the merging of the UK AVD User Group and the UK Citrix User Group to form a new group with a broader and richer mandate to discuss all things EUC. As such, their events offer the opportunity to explore the broadest range of EUC technologies available.
What to expect at EUC Summer Forum 2026
The agenda for the summer forum is already available and promises to be high on technical content with speakers from the wider European EUC community beyond the UK attending. Highlights that you can expect to see include:
- Vendor News: The meeting will kick off, as ever, with a 40-minute session led by the EUC Forum committee. This session alone makes attendance worthwhile. A turbo-charged update curated by veteran experts that gets everyone up to speed on not only the latest EUC technologies and releases but also those all-important significant changes to licensing and pricing models.
- AVD: There are a couple of sessions worth catching with Thomas Poppelgaard (veteran of the Citrix CTP program) covering his field experience of AVD vs. Windows 365, and Eric van Klaveren (formerly of Microsoft, now Nerdio) also covering Microsoft Virtual Desktops.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): There will also be opportunities to catch up on AI that is relevant to EUC with Adam Cooperman’s session “Why EUC people should be AI people?” and Shubhangi Goyal’s session “Transforming Language Understanding Using Generative AI”.
