On June 10, the eG Innovations Korea 2026 Media Briefing was held in the Orchid Hall of The Plaza Hotel in Seoul. As the first official media event since the Korean subsidiary was established, it drew dozens of journalists from leading national newspapers and specialist IT publications.
The registration desk was busy from early morning, and the venue was filled with anticipation as attendees eagerly awaited firsthand insights into the past year’s achievements and the road ahead. Following a brief welcome, eG Innovations shared its technology vision and Korea market strategy across two presentation sessions.
AI-Powered IT Operations (AIOps) and Observability Strategy
delivering his presentation.
The first session was led by Srihari Avar, Global Head of Solutions Engineering. His message was clear: “AI alone is not enough.” True observability, he argued, is achieved on a foundation of accumulated domain knowledge.
The presentation examined the reality of an increasingly fragmented observability market and demonstrated how eG Innovations addresses this through full-stack, integrated visibility on a single platform. Going beyond simple data collection, it positioned the “Domain Intelligence” accumulated across infrastructure and applications as the company’s core differentiator.
The session naturally led into the long-term vision of “Autonomous IT Operations.” The company noted that it already offers a conversational AI interface integrated with ChatGPT and Gemini, with support for Claude planned in the future. Reinforcing its position, it also shared that it has secured more than 40 enterprise customers in the eight years since entering the Korean market.
SAP PCE & VDI Monitoring Market Strategy and Data Center Roadmap
during his presentation.
In the second session, Korea Country Manager Kim Hyun-chan outlined the company’s domestic market strategy, supported by concrete figures.
As the only company in Korea specializing in SAP PCE monitoring, eG Innovations Korea has demonstrated its technical leadership backed by international certifications including “RISE with SAP.” Building on this, it unveiled a roadmap to capture the two key markets – SAP PCE and VDI monitoring, and to further expand into the data center infrastructure monitoring space.

in conversation ahead of the media interviews.
What drew particular attention were the specific targets. The company aims to achieve a 50% share of the specialized SAP PCE monitoring market by 2030 and identified the easing of network separation regulations and the expansion of public-sector DaaS as growth drivers for the VDI market. It also shared that, as a first step into the data center market, it is in ongoing discussions with SK Telecom.
The interviews that followed the presentations featured in-depth questions on reducing AIOps false positives, protecting customer data when integrating with external LLMs, and the synergies of the new data center business. Separate, more detailed interviews were conducted with Digital Times and Byline Network, once again confirming the strong on-site interest in eG Innovations’ strategy.
Accurate, Fact-Based Media Coverage
with their presence.

The key messages delivered at the event were consistently reflected across publications, and the overall tone of the reporting was both fact-based and faithful. The topics eG Innovations set out to convey were widely covered, including – Korea’s role as an East Asia hub, the dual-market strategy for SAP PCE and VDI along with specific market share targets, the expansion into data centers, and the vision of Autonomous IT Operations.
