Managing and Unmanaging Components
Soon after component discovery, proceed to manage/unmanage the discovered components. Component management is a necessary step in monitoring because, administrators of IT infrastructures may not want to monitor all components that are discovered. For instance, an IT infrastructure may have a number of staging and testing components, in addition to their production components. An administrator may want to have only the production components monitored by eG Enterprise.
