URL Connectivity - AVD Test
In order to deploy Azure Virtual Desktops in an AVD environment and for users to connect to those AVDs, administrators must allow specific FQDNs and endpoints. On the other hand, users also need to be able to connect to certain FQDNs and endpoints to access their Azure Virtual Desktop resources. Sometimes, these FQDNs and endpoints could be blocked by a firewall or a proxy service in the target AVD environment. When this happens, users may not be able to access their Azure Virtual Desktops. Therefore, it is necessary for the administrators to continuously monitor the accessibility of the FQDNs and endpoints. The URL Connectivity - AVD test helps in this regard!
Using this test, administrators can identify the number of URLs of the FQDNs and endpoints that are accessible and those that are not accessible. Further, this test also reports the status of the accessibility check performed on the FQDNs and endpoints. The detailed diagnostics reveals the exact URLs that are accessible and not accessible.

Detailed Diagnosis |
To make diagnosis more efficient and accurate, the eG Enterprise embeds an optional detailed diagnostic capability. With this capability, the eG agents can be configured to run detailed, more elaborate tests as and when specific problems are detected. To enable the detailed diagnosis capability of this test for a particular server, choose the On option. To disable the capability, click on the Off option. The option to selectively enable/disable the detailed diagnosis capability will be available only if the following conditions are fulfilled:

The measure values that this test can report and their corresponding numeric values are listed in the table below: Note: By default, this measure reports the above-mentioned values to indicate the current status of the URL accessibility health check. In the graph of this measure however, the same is represented using the numeric equivalents i.e., 0 or 100. |
