What is Boomi AtomSphere?

Boomi is one of the leading iPaaS solutions using which organizations can easily connect to cloud-based applications and on-premise enterprise platforms. The Boomi Enterprise Platform is the control plane cloud-based web portal that is used to automate all phases of the integrations, including designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining them. Atoms (or Molecules) are the runtimes where integrations are hosted (data plane).

Boomi provides a cloud-based integration platform which supports two deployment models:

• Cloud deployment model widely used when all the integration endpoints are cloud-based.

• On-premise deployment model which is used when any integration endpoints are within a corporate network.

The integration processes are deployed to Atom which is a lightweight, dynamic runtime engine. These Atoms can be hosted on the cloud or on an on-premise host.
