Monitoring Google Workspace Synthetic Monitor

eG Enterprise offers an exclusive Google Workspace Synthetic Monitor monitoring model (see ), which keeps tabs on the services within Google Workspace ( Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets etc), and reports deviations much before they impact the user experience.

  • Is API access using the simulation user account working as expected?

  • Are Google calendar operations working?

  • Using Google Chat, are messages being sent, updated, deleted, etc. and what is the latency?

  • Are Google Drive folder creation, search and delete operations working and is there any slowness?

  • Are Google Document operations such as document creation, updation, download, upload and deletion working as expected?

  • Are Teachers able to access Google Workspace and list courses?

  • Are students able to access Google Workspace and connect to the classroom?

  • Are Google Slide operations such as slide creation, updation, download, upload and deletion working as expected?

  • Are Google Sheet operations such as sheet creation, updation, download, upload and deletion working as expected?

The tests pertaining to the Network Layer have already been discussed in Monitoring Microsoft Yammersection. The sections to come will discuss the tests associated with other two layers.
