How does eG Enterprise Monitor Microsoft Azure DNS Zones?
eG Enterprise provides a specialized Microsoft Azure DNS Zones model to host your DNS domains in the Microsoft cloud. To collect metrics from the target DNS zones, eG Enterprise employs an agentless monitoring approach - i.e., it uses an eG remote agent deployed on Windows/Linux host/VM in the environment. This remote agent communicates with the Microsoft Azure cloud and pulls metrics on DNS zones by making Azure ARM REST API calls - this includes metrics on the domain names and their associated records of Azure’s DNS service.
