Managing Microsoft Azure Entra ID

Where a Microsoft Azure Subscription component is managed, the eG agent monitoring that subscription is capable of automatically discovering the Microsoft Azure Entra ID in the environment.

Note:

A Microsoft Azure Subscription can only be managed manually using the eG admin interface. To use the interface, an internet connection is required.

If for any reason the eG agent is unable to auto-discover Microsoft Azure Entra ID, then you can manually add the component to the eG Enterprise system. For this purpose, follow the steps below:

1. Log into the eG administrative interface.

2. eG Enterprise cannot automatically discover Microsoft Azure Entra ID. You need to manually add it using the COMPONENTS page (see Figure 1) that appears when the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify menu sequence is followed. Remember that components manually added are managed automatically.

3. Specify the Nick name of the Microsoft Azure Entra ID subscription in Figure 1. This component can only be monitored in an Agentless manner. Then click the Add button to register the changes.
