How Does eG Enterprise Monitor Microsoft Intune?

eG Enterprise collects metrics from Microsoft Intune in an agentless manner only - i.e., an eG remote agent deployed on any Windows/Linux host/VM in the environment.

• In order to collect metrics on the status and overall health of the endpoints managed using Microsoft Intune, the eG remote agent communicates with the Microsoft Azure cloud and pulls metrics by making Intune REST API calls.

To enable the eG agent to collect all the metrics above, you need to make sure that the requirements detailed in the Pre-requisites for Monitoring Microsoft Intune topic are fulfilled.
