How does eG Enterprise Monitor Microsoft RD Gateway?

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Microsoft RD Gateway model to host RD Gateway. To collect metrics from the target Microsoft RD Gateway, eG Enterprise employs an agent-based monitoring approach. The eG agent should be installed on the server hosting the Microsoft RD Gateway application. Once this is done, then the agent makes pulls metrics of interest from it.

To enable the eG agent to pull these metrics, you need to make sure that the RD Gateway service is running.
