Monitoring Microsoft RD Gateway

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Microsoft RD Gateway model.

Each layer in Figure 1 is mapped to tests that report metrics related to the RD Gateway. Using the metrics reported by this test, administrators can find accurate answers for the following performance queries:

• Are there too many load balancing decisions/messages that had failed?

• Is the data transmission/reception abnormally high?

• Are there too many connections to the back-end server that had failed?

• Is the gateway taking too much time to authorize a connection request?

• Is the percentage of connection failures high?
