What is Omnissa Horizon Cloud Control Plane?

The Omnissa Horizon Cloud Control Plane is a cloud-based management platform that centralizes the administration of virtual desktops and applications within the Horizon Cloud environment. The Control Plane provides a unified interface for deploying, configuring, monitoring virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and application services across various cloud and on-premises environments.

The Control Plane offers a single point of control for managing virtual desktops and applications, simplifying administrative tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. The Control Plane orchestrates the deployment, scaling of virtual desktops, and applications across multiple cloud providers as well as on-premises data centers. The Control Plane provides APIs that enable automation of routine tasks, integration with other systems, and extension of Horizon Cloud capabilities.

Horizon Cloud provides a multi-tenant, cloud-scale architecture that enables you to deploy virtual desktops and apps from anywhere. While the control plane is hosted and managed by Omnissa, the resources are operated by the customer.
