How Does eG Enterprise Monitor Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod?

eG Enterprise monitors the Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod using a single eG agent  on any remote host in the environment. This agent is capable of monitoring the performance of the Omnissa Horizon Cloud Pod (provisioned using Omnissa Horizon v7.10 and above) and collect the required metrics by executing Omnissa Restful APIs. To enable the eG agent to collect the required metrics, ensure that the user accessing the target Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod should possess read-only role defined in the Horizon View Management Console.

To enable the eG agent to collect the required metrics, ensure that the user accessing the target Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod possesses read-only administrator role defined in the Horizon View management console.

Managing the Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod

To achieve this, follow the steps given below:

  2. eG Enterprise cannot automatically discover the Omnissa Horizon Cluster/Pod. You need to manually add the component using the COMPONENTS page (see Figure 1) that appears when the Infrastructure -> Components -> Add/Modify menu sequence is followed.
