Connection Server Connectivity Test

This test reports whether/not the Omnissa Horizon Connection server is available. If available, the test additionally reports the responsiveness of the server.

Target of the test : An Omnissa Horizon Security Server

Agent deploying the test : An internal agent

Outputs of the test : One set of results for the target Omnissa Horizon Security server being monitored.

Configurable parameters for the test

Parameter	Description
Test Period	How often should the test be executed.
Host	The host for which the test is to be configured.
Port	Refers to the port used by the target Omnissa Horizon Security server. The default port number is 443.
Connection Server Port	Specify the port through which the target Omnissa Horizon Security server communicates with the Omnissa Horizon Connection server. By default, this is 4001.

Measurements made by the test

Measurement	Description	Measurement Unit	Interpretation
Availability	Indicates whether/not the Omnissa Horizon Connection server is available.	Percent	The value 100 indicates that the Omnissa Horizon Connection server is available. The value 0 for this measure indicates that the server is not available.
Response time	Indicates the time taken by the Omnissa Horizon Connection server to respond to requests from the target Omnissa Horizon Security server.	Seconds	Ideally, the value of this measure should be low. A high value or a steady increase in the value of this measure is a cause for concern, as it indicates poor responsiveness. This can be caused by factors such as a server bottleneck or a configuration problem.
