Monitoring the Oracle Key Vault

eG Enterprise provides a specialized Oracle Key Vault monitoring model (see Figure 1), which periodically polls the SNMP MIB of the target appliance to measure the device's usage of disk, memory, and CPU.

Each layer of Figure 1 is mapped to a variety of tests pertaining to the Network and Operating System, layers, except the Device Processes test that has been elaborated in the upcoming section. These layers are similar to the Microsoft Windows monitoring model; hence, please refer to Monitoring Windows Servers for a detailed discussion on each of the layers of Figure 1.
