Monitoring Regex Log

eG Enterprise offers a special-purpose monitoring model to monitor the overall performance of the target Regex Log. Figure 1 depicts the layer model of Regex Log Monitor.

The layer in the Figure 1 is mapped to a test to determine the critical statistics related to the performance of the target Regex Log. Using the metrics reported by this test, administrators can find accurate answers for the following performance queries:

• Were many discarded lines identified as a result of Regex matching?

• Does the Regex matching process consumes more time?
