SCC Service Channels Test
Service Channels in SAP Cloud Connector are a key concept used to control which on-premises resources or services can be accessed from the connected cloud applications. They allow you to define and manage the routes or connections between cloud applications and specific resources on your on-premises network.Service Channels provide access control mechanisms that allow you to specify which on-premises services or systems can be accessed by particular cloud applications or destinations. This is important for security and data protection. Service channels also allow administrators to define rules and filters within the service channels to control which requests are allowed or denied, providing granular control over access. Monitoring service channels allow administrators to ensure that the connections are working as expected and make adjustments if necessary.
This test monitors the SCC Service Channels and report the number of open connections. Administrators can monitor the metric over repeated measurements to understand if the number corresponds to activity on SCC.
Target of the test : SAP Cloud Connector
Agent deploying the test : An internal/external agent
Outputs of the test : One set of results for each service channel in sub account.
