Configuring Tests for SSAS

Once the component is added for monitoring, do the following to configure its tests:

  1. .Clicking the Update button in the Add Component page will invoke Figure 2, where you can see the SSAS instance you just added.

  2. Click the icon corresponding to the SSAS listing in Figure 2 to configure its tests. Figure 3 will then appear.

  3. The UNCONFIGURED TESTS list in Figure 3 will display the tests that require manual configuration. In the case of SSAS, the Windows Processes test and Windows Services test need to be configured. First, select the Windows Processes test and click the Configure button to configure the test. Figure 4 will then appear.

  4. Once you configure the test, click the Update button.

  5. Figure 5 will then appear, prompting you to configure the Windows Services test. Select that test from the UNCONFIGURED TESTS list and click the Configure button to configure it

  6. Figure 6 will then appear.

  7. Once you configure the test, click the Update button.

  8. Finally, sign out of the eG admin interface.
