Monitoring Solace Cluster

eG Enterprise offers a specialized monitoring model that monitors the Solace Cluster and reports the availability, connectivity and health of the nodes in the cluster.

Every layer of Figure 1 is mapped to a wide variety of tests that monitor critical performance parameters and report metrics on the cluster and node health.

The metrics so collected would enable administrators to find accurate answers for the following performance queries:

• Are there many nodes with network, SEMP, and port connectivity issues?

• What is total number of nodes in the cluster?

• Is there any activity state change in the nodes?

• Whether or not the nodes are working in the designated state?

• Are the nodes in the cluster available? If not, which is the unavailable node?

• Are there any issues in the health of Redundancy, ConfigSync and Message spool of the nodes?

• Are there any module on the primary /backup nodes that had faulted and was not ready? If so, which is it?
