Azure Virtual Desktop Reports

Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a cloud-based service that allows organizations to create and manage virtualized Windows desktops and applications. AVD provides a flexible and scalable solution for delivering a full Windows desktop experience or specific applications to users on a variety of devices, regardless of their physical location.

In AVD infrastructure, sometimes, users may encounter slow response times, application crashes, connectivity problems, overutilization or underutilization of the resources, unavailability of the virtual desktops, or any other issues that affect user experience due to various reasons. In such cases, administrators may want to know the root-cause of the performance bottlenecks as quickly as possible and resolve them before it seriously impacts the user experience and productivity. To help administrators in this regard, eG Enterprise offers a set of reports that provide insights into performance of AVD service. Using these reports, administrators can know the following at-a-glance:

  • Connection failures (if any) occurred while establishing user connections via an AVD broker;

  • Users who are experiencing slowness while logging in;

  • Key performance indicators such as user experience trends, session-level metrics, application usage data, events, server resource utilization, and license usage levels for the AVD Host Pool environment;
