How to Monitor Windows Systems Using eG Enterprise?

This involves the following steps:

  1. Install an eG agent on a remote Windows/Linux host in the environment;

  2. Install and start an eG VM Agent on every Windows system you want monitored;

  3. Configure every eG VM Agent with the details of the remote agent it should communicate with and the Windows Systems Group component it should monitor;

  4. If required, change the TCP port (default port: 60010) at which the remote agent listens;

  5. Manage the Windows Systems Group component using the eG administrative interface;

  6. View the real-time state and metrics of the managed Windows Systems Group component in the eG monitoring console
