Microservices Runtime Adapter Connections Test
In webMethods Microservices Runtime, a package is a core deployment and organizational unit that contains a set of related services, interfaces, document types, triggers, and other assets required for integration or microservice solution. An alias in the context of webMethods Microservices Runtime, particularly URL or endpoint aliases, refers to a logical mapping or name that represents URLs, service endpoints, or network resources.
In webMethods Microservices Runtime, adapter connections are organized and managed via packages for modularity and deployment. When connections must refer to external endpoints or logical resources, aliases offer a layer of indirection so connection details can be managed centrally and flexibly. Both packages and aliases work together to enable scalable, maintainable, and portable integration microservices. This test helps the administrators to identify the current state of the aliases and trigger recovery actions which helps reduce downtime and maintain high availability.
