How does eG Enterprise Monitor NetApp E-Series Storage?

eG Enterprise provides a specialized NetApp E-Series Storage model to host NetApp E-Series Storage system. To collect metrics from the target NetApp E-Series Storage system, eG Enterprise employs an agentless monitoring approach. The eG agent should be installed on any remote Windows/Unix server hosting the NetApp E-Series Storage system. Once this is done, the eG agent pulls metrics of interest from it using REST API commands.
