How to Monitor Omnissa Horizon Desktops Using eG Enterprise?

This involves the following broad steps:

  1. Install an eG agent on a remote Windows/Linux host in the environment;

  2. Install and start an eG VM Agent on every Omnissa Horizon desktop you want monitored on the cloud;

  3. Configure every eG VM Agent with the details of the eG remote agent it should communicate with and the Omnissa Horizon Desktop Group component it should monitor;

  4. If the remote agent listens on a different port in your environment, then override the default TCP port (60010) of the remote agent to reflect the change.

  5. Manage the Omnissa Horizon Desktop group component using the eG administrative interface;

  6. View the real-time state and metrics of the managed Omnissa Horizon Desktop group component in the eG monitoring console
