How to Monitor Citrix Desktop Group Using eG Enterprise?
This involves the following broad steps:
-
Install an eG agent on a remote Windows/Linux host in the environment;
-
Install and start an eG VM Agent on every citrix desktop you want monitored on Citrix;
-
Configure every eG VM Agent with the details of the remote agent it should communicate with and the Citrix Desktop Group component it should monitor;
-
If required, you can override the default port (60010) at which the remote agent listens;
-
Manage the Citrix Desktops component using the eG administrative interface;
-
View the real-time state and metrics of the managed Citrix Desktops component in the eG monitoring console
To know how to install an eG agent on a Windows/Linux host, refer to the eG Installation Guide. Each of the other steps outlined above (i.e., steps 2-6) has been elaborately discussed
