How to Monitor Citrix Desktop Group Using eG Enterprise?

This involves the following broad steps:

  1. Install an eG agent on a remote Windows/Linux host in the environment;

  2. Install and start an eG VM Agent on every citrix desktop you want monitored on Citrix;

  3. Configure every eG VM Agent with the details of the remote agent it should communicate with and the Citrix Desktop Group component it should monitor;

  4. If required, you can override the default port (60010) at which the remote agent listens;

  5. Manage the Citrix Desktops component using the eG administrative interface;

  6. View the real-time state and metrics of the managed Citrix Desktops component in the eG monitoring console
