EVA Enclosure Power Supply Test

This test reports the current operational state and overall health of each power supply unit contained within an array enclosure.

Target of the test : An EVA Storage Array

Agent deploying the test : A remote agent

Outputs of the test : One set of results for each power supply unit within an enclosure.

Configurable parameters for the test
Parameter Description

Test Period

How often should the test be executed.

Host

The host for which the test is to be configured.

Port

Refers to the port used by the EVA SAN device.  By default, it is null.

EVASystemIP

Specify the IP address of the HP EVA SAN.

ArrayName

Specify the name of the EVA SAN array that has been configured for monitoring.

SSSULocation

Install the SSSU.exe software and specify the full path to the install directory of this software here.

Username and
Password

Specify the user credentials using which the HP EVA array is to be accessed.

Confirm Password

Confirm the password by retyping it here. 

Timeout

Indicate the duration (in seconds) for which this test should wait for a response from the storage device. By default, this is set to 120 seconds.

Failure predicted

Indicates whether failure of this power supply unit has been predicted.
