How does eG Enterprise Monitor Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM?

eG Enterprise monitors Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM using either an external or internal agent and uses JMX to monitor the P6 EPPM Server.

Pre-requsites for monitoring the Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM

1. The eGAgent uses eGurkha.war file to monitor Oracle Primavera deployment on Oracle Weblogic server. For details on how to configure eGAgent, please refer Pre-requisites for Monitoring Oracle WebLogic Application Server Version 6/7/8.

2. To configure the eG Agent to collect and report JMX metrics, refer to Configuring the eG Agent to Report JVM-related Metrics for the WebLogic Server 9.0 (and above).

3. Refer to Configuring the eG Agent to Support JMX Authentication for enabling JMX authentication.
